This series is based on Gina Oschner's short story, Song of the Selkie.  

I was inspired by the images in Oschner's text that focus on the five senses: sight, taste, hearing, smell, and touch.  The bound book features hand-sculpted 3-dimensional covers and is split into  five parts, with a spot and spread for each sense.
